We’re delighted to present Barak Hill at the house June 16 as he releases his new album, Songs Like Arrows into the world.
A Parsons native now living in Springfield, MO, Barak's songs speak to the human experience with heartbreak, hope, and an unwavering spirit. This new work finds him dreaming of distant places and stories to tell. From Oklahoma highways and the mesas of New Mexico, to sun-soaked California, his songs capture the essence of moving forward, the longing for connection, and the hope that keeps our eyes on the road.
John Calvin Abney (Olive Street ’21) supports the album on guitar, along with a host of Missouri’s finest working musicians. We think Barak’s work is just stunning, and can’t wait to hear the new songs. We hope you’ll join us.
